No Pain, No Gain

I went for another parkrun run last Saturday morning. The good news is that I ran 73 seconds quicker although I think everyone else did too plus a bit more. Overall I came 187th out of 278 runners so I set myself a target this week of 4 gym sessions.

On this Wednesday night with 3 classes down (Bodybalance, Boxercise and Running Intervals) and 1 to go (Zumba), my body is aching. It hurts when I bend down, it hurts when I stretch up. Perhaps 4 is too much but I want a respectable time. Maybe the answer is to lower my expectations and be happy just to take part. After all it’s not the winning that counts…..

Nah I don’t believe that!!!
